Project Overview
EduPlatform is an Arabic-first learning management platform designed for students, instructors, expertise managers, and administrators. It provides role-based dashboards and tools for organizing specializations and classes, managing subjects and lessons, creating quizzes and assignments, tracking learning progress, and handling certificates and course reviews. The platform also includes notifications, discussions, support tickets, analytics, and administrative tools for managing users and content. Administrators can configure supported website settings, including homepage content, branding, navigation, contact information, developer-support details, and appearance. The frontend is built with React and Vite, while the backend uses Node.js, Express, and MongoDB through Mongoose.
The Challenge
Build an Arabic-first learning platform supporting multiple user roles, course organization, assessments, progress tracking, and administrative operations while maintaining RTL layouts and responsive interfaces.
The Engineering Solution
Developed a React frontend and an Express API backed by MongoDB. Implemented role-based access controls, educational management workflows, assessment tools, progress tracking, administrative settings, and integrations for email and file uploads where configured.
Key Results & Performance
52 automated tests passed locally: 13 frontend tests and 39 backend tests. Linting and production builds succeeded. Live deployment behavior and external integrations have not been fully verified.
